  • Step #1

    Introduce the diluted oil at a distance.

  • Step #2

    Move a bit closer, watch for your horse to turn his or her head or stay.

  • Step #3

    Leave your hand by the nostril for him to relax into and inhale. Watch for dropping of the head, sighs, or release.
